A Bancroft resident is facing several charges following an altercation in Hastings Highlands earlier this week.
OPP say officers from the Bancroft detachment responded to a disturbance at a residence shortly after 9 p.m. on June 4.
Police say one person was arrested a short time later during a traffic stop.
The resident has been charged with break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in August
