The driver of a 2015 Dodge pickup truck escaped without injury but his vehicle was completely lost after a fire this morning near Maynooth.
Hastings Highlands Fire Chief Bryce Robinson told MyBancroftNow a fire crew arrived at the corner of Highway 62 and Scott Line just south of the village around 8 a.m.
The chief said the fire started under the hood of the truck.
The driver got out and immediately called 911.
A fire crew were on scene for about two hours.
