Bancroft OPP have charged the driver of an ATV with impaired driving and assault with a weapon after investigating a disturbance.
OPP responded at 6 p.m. Sunday to Woodview Lane in Bancroft.
While investigating the disturbance, police utilized a screening device and the accused was taken back to the detachment for testing.
The 23-year-old also faces a charge of failing to comply with a release order and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft at a later date.
