Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for:

At 12:07 AM EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to toonie size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located near L’Amable, moving southeast at 75 km/h. Hazard: Toonie size hail, 90 km/h wind gusts and heavy rainfall. Locations impacted include: Upper Madawaska River Provincial Park, Lake St. Peter Provincial Park, Maynooth, Lower Hay Lake, Hay Lake, Drizzle Lake, L’Amable, Gunters, Madawaska, Hybla, Harris Bay, Centreview, Burgess Mines, Kamaniskeg Lake and Craigmont. Local utility outages are likely. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.
