Algonquin Park set to unveil newest Interpretive Trail

Nature enthusiasts and park lovers are invited to celebrate the grand opening of Algonquin Park’s newest interpretive trail Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre, marking the official launch of the 2.4K trail.

Developed by The Friends of Algonquin Park, the trail offers visitors a chance to explore the park’s diverse natural environments, including its major habitats, through scenic views and short, steep climbs.

“This new interpretive trail is a celebration of Algonquin’s rich natural heritage and the generosity of donors who made it possible,” said the The Friends of Algonquin Park.

“We’re thrilled to finally share it with the public.”

Full details, along with a list of donors who supported the project, are available at algonquinpark.on.ca.

The event is free to attend, and all are welcome.
