Revised date for launch of Connect Hastings pilot project

Bancroft Community Transit has changed the first day of their Connect Hastings pilot project to Halloween.

Connect Hastings is a bus service to Belleville that Bancroft Community Transit and Central Hastings Support Network will be offering once a month until December, to measure demand for inter-community transit in the area.

They’ve released the information about the first trip, happening Oct. 31, rather than the originally-scheduled Oct. 24.

The bus will start with pickup in Madoc at 8 a.m., before travelling to Bancroft and then returning to Madoc, and reaching Belleville at 11 a.m. The full schedule is available on the Bancroft Community Transit Facebook page.

The cost is $44 round-trip.
