The North Kawartha Knights won their season opener Friday night in Georgina 9-3. Captain Cam Medland had 3 goals 1 assist. The home opener Saturday night in Apsley was a well fought battle, with goals from by Shane Patterson and Jesse Douglas, but the Knights suffered a 6-2 loss to Uxbridge. Their back on the ice in Lakefield Tuesday night.
