The annual Terry Fox run took place at Millennium Park in Bancroft, and early totals show that our community raised over 95-hundred dollars. Funds will go to the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research. Although participation was down, the run raised around 25-hundred dollars more than last year. As added incentive for people to join the run, those who participated were entered into a draw for prizes donated by local businesses. A youth mountain bike donated by Trips and Trails was won by Tracy McGibbon, and Olivia Kauffeldt’s name was drawn for a Coleman BBQ donated by Bancroft Canadian Tire.
