North Hastings Hospital Fund Development raised almost $27,000 at their doctor/chef cookoff.
Debbie Speck, chair of the cookoff committee, said they exceeded their goal of $23,000 for the purchase of a new ECG machine.
Held over the weekend, chefs and doctors created appetizers, which were served to guests and judged by a panel of judges.
Speck said nurses Tammy Davis and Jody Ives from the hospital leadership team won the people’s choice and appearance and taste categories.
Speck said they had a full house at Bancroft Brewing Co.
