Haliburton OPP has released the names of the people involved in the fatal snowmobile crash Sunday morning, on Allen Lake, in Harcourt Park. A man was operating a 2010 Arctic Cat snowmobile when it struck a tree. Thirty-five year-old Kevin Ferguson of Blackstock, Ontario, died on the scene from his injuries, while 40 year-old Tamara Mothersill of Peterborough was air lifted to a Toronto hospital. The crash is still under investigation. Police have suggested that speed may have been a factor.
