A suspended driver has been charged after the passing and part of the driving lanes on the 401 near Odessa were closed on Saturday morning because of a collision involving a transport truck and a passenger vehicle. The transport truck collided with the passenger vehicle and several metres of a metal guide rail before rolling on its side in the median ditch. The driver of the truck, a 50 year-old Brampton man, was taken to hospital, where he was treated and released. He has been charged with driving while under suspension and careless driving and has a Napanee court date in April.
