A 30 year-old Tweed woman has been charged with assault. Early Friday evening Madoc OPP officers were called to a disturbance call on Trudeau Lane in Tweed. The officers were required to deal with an intoxicated woman. When the woman was arrested she became uncooperative and resisted police, spitting at them and at the interior of the cruiser. While being held in custody the woman urinated and defecated throughout the cell area. The woman has been charged with Assaulting Police and two Counts of Mischief.
