Madawaska Valley culture showcased in motorcycle magazine article

The Madawaska Valley’s beauty is on display in a new article that follows a motorcycle ride through southern Ontario.

The Harley Davison Owners Group’s HOG Magazine Canada profiled the area during a trip in the summer.  The staff spent time at the Avro Aero commemorative Zurakowski Park, South of 60 Arts Centre/Railway Station, Spectacle Lake Lodge, Wilno Tavern and more local landmarks.

Township councillor Carl Bromwich gave the riders the tour.  His efforts were applauded by Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk Craig Kelley at Tuesday’s Development and Property Committee meeting in Barry’s Bay.

Councillor and Committee Chair Elser Lee Faith Archer also mentioned exploring outdoor eating options locally, to better attract riders.  She says bikers that she has spoken with would support the idea, so it should be considered after the township’s new strategic plan is done.   For more information, click here.
