Bancroft OPP continues to investigate a serious two vehicle collision that happened on Sunday afternoon along Highway 28 South. Police say that a Volkswagen car was travelling north on Highway 28 crossed over into the southbound lane and hit an oncoming Jeep SUV. A 24 year-old North York man driving the Volkswagen, was taken to hospital with major injuries. The driver of the Jeep, a 50 year-old Enniskillen woman, was also taken to hospital by suffering only minor injuries. The names of the drivers are not being released while the investigation is underway.
