Bancroft’s Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 229 Viking’s Range Team represented themselves and their communities well at the Peterborough Armoury last Sunday. They competed in the annual zone competition for marksmanship. There were a total of 9 units representing Sea, Army and Air units. The 229 Viking Range Team won the Silver medal for the team standings, while Petty Officer First Class Trisha Wannamaker won a Gold medal for top open individual shooter and Master Seaman Justin Dodd won a Silver medal for 2nd place open individual shooter.
