The North Kawarths Knights played home to Lakefield Cheifs on Saturday, downing the Cheifs 5-1. Jackson Wiltshire and Nick Mann scored their 1st career Junior C goals. Also scoring was Justin Thain, Cam Medland and Russyl Fontyn. Spencer Green made 24 saves in the victory.
The Knights travelled to Port Perry on Sunday to face the Mojacks, giving the Mojacks their first loss of the season, 3-1. Cam Medland scored 2 goals and Braden Macdonald added the game winning goal. Jake Ireland Backstopped the Knights making a miraculous 46 saves in the win.
The Knights play at home this Saturday vs Georgina at 2:55pm, at the North Kawartha Community Centre. On Sunday the Knights host the Clarington Toros in a home away from home in Bancroft, at the North Hastings Community Center. Puck drop is at 2:30pm.
