Haliburton OPP has been busy over the past week focusing on their Offender Management Program/Crime Abatement Strategy. These programs are designed to follow up on persons who are released back into the community, ensuring they abide by certain conditions. The goal is to help eliminate returns to criminal activity. The OPP works closely with Probation and Parole on this effort. As a result the following persons have been arrested on outstanding warrants:
A 38 year-old Kinmount man was arrested and charged with two counts of Failing to Comply with Probation Order.
A 19 year-old Haliburton man was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Failing to Comply with Probation Order.
A 43 year-old Haliburton man was arrested on a Surety Revocation Warrant.
An 18 year-old Haliburton man was arrested and charged with Failing to Comply with a Probation Order, Consuming Liquor in Other Than Licenced Premises and Possession Liquor while under 19 years of age.
