Dysart’s Fire Chief is warning people to express caution when burning leaves in the autumn months.
A fire in Haliburton County on Tuesday sparked the warning.
Fire chief Miles Maughan says it’s not uncommon for fires to spread due to dry leaves at this time of year.
He went on to say it’s important to have safe place to dump ashes during dryer months likes Autumn or Spring.
