A meeting is being held today to further discuss a possible code of conduct that may be introduced for council members but has not yet been passed.
The new code would be the first of its kind for council and would act like a three strike policy. Strike one would be a verbal warning, strike two would be written, and strike three would be a 90 day suspension.
Today’s training will act as an orientation session to get council acquainted with the potential new rules.
