North Kawartha township has approved a solar policy.
A proposed new ground mounted solar panel is part of the policy. The purpose is to promote the use of renewable energy within the community.
The new solar policy would include a solar application of 15-hundred-dollars. It would also affect fees and charges to the community if approved.
The policy is still being discussed at this time.
