People who live near local waterways are being asked to be careful.
This comes in a special watershed statement by Quinte Conservation.
They say that large rivers can handle today’s high volume of water but smaller water spots may not be able to. They say there is a risk of flooding, and are asking people to stay away from all waterways as the slippery and cold conditions could be dangerous.
