A sea of pink will be flowing at local schools and workplaces today. Students and employees will be wearing pink to show support for Pink Shirt Day, a visible action to show acceptance, and say no to bullying, homophobia, racism and all forms of hatred. This is the second year that Pink Shirt Day has been supported across the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. Thousands of students and employees will wear pink to stand together to show support for inclusive schools, workplaces and communities. The theme this year is Erase the Hate. And so far about 4,000 people have shown their support by buying a T-shirt.
