Thieves have made off with a tractor and gun. On Wednesday Peterborough County OPP was called to a residence on Division Road. They discovered that unknown persons had broken into the home, as well as taken property from outside the house. Reported stolen is a nine horsepower engine from a small tractor, a 1957 Allis Chalmers Farm Tractor, a .22 caliber Cooey rifle and some food. The estimated value of the stolen items is $3,000. Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
