MNR Downgrades Flood Warning

The Ministry of Natural Resources – Bancroft District is advising area residents that the Flood Warning issued April 17, 2014 has been downgraded to a Watershed Conditions – Flood Outlook. The Outlook statement gives early notice of the possibility for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snow melt, high winds or other conditions. Residents of the area should keep a close watch on conditions and stay away from fast-moving rivers and streams. The MNR is closely monitoring the weather and developing watershed conditions and will issue further updates as appropriate. This outlook statement will expire on Thursday evening 5:00 p.m.
