As we enter the building season, the town of Bancroft is asking you to contact our local building department if you plan on doing any construction projects.
The town says the building department will review applications, inspect anything you build, and make sure all projects are up to code.
Chief Building Official Dale Shannick says this year is shaping up to be a positive year for home constructions, with up to eight permits having already been requested for to build residences.
