Hospice North Hastings will be opening a new social enterprise on Hastings Street North.
Hospice has announced it will be opening ‘Vintage on Hastings,’ which will operate as a thrift shop to raise money for the free programs it offers in North Hastings. It will offer consignment, on-line sales, an arts corner, sports exchange, ticket sales and an arts & crafts centre for seniors.
The building will also be equipped with a chair lift for accessibility to the second floor.
Anyone interested in volunteering with the new venture is being invited to attend a welcome session at the Bancroft Village Playhouse at 9:30am on Friday. You can register for the session by calling (613) 332-8014. If you can’t make the welcome session and still want to volunteer, Hospice is asking you to call that same number.
