The Boyer Auto Group North Kawartha Knights hockey team is working on finalizing its roster for the 2017-2018 season.
Head Coach and General Manager Duane Wiltshire says the Junior C team had 70 players try-out in June.
The team is now down to 40 candidates for a slot on the roster for its fourth season. That number still needs to be dwindled down to 23, and the Knights will use preseason and intra-squad games and practices to make final selections.
The preseason runs until September 10th. The regular season starts on September 14th. Click here to see the team’s schedule.
