Knowing all the safety rules and following them will make this fall’s hunting season a safer one for everybody. The MNR and OPP are reminding hunters that safety needs to be their first priority in the woods. Safety rules such as wearing hunter orange, shooting only when you know what your are shooting at and what is beyond that and not drinking while hunting are some of the basics, but there are many more and a good knowledge and practice of those rules will result in a safer hunt.
