Loyalist students will have a longer semester this fall because of the ongoing Ontario college strike.
This comes as faculty members from the 24 striking colleges will be voting on the College Employer’s Council’s latest offer between next Tuesday and Thursday.
If the strike ends after the vote, Loyalist says classes could resume during the week of November 20th. The semester would continue until December 22nd when winter break begins, and resume on January 2nd.
