MNRF Reminding Residents A Permit Is Needed To Work On Shore Land

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is reminding you need a permit before doing any work on shore land.

This comes after Armstrong Trucking, out of Apsley, has been $1,500 for filling shore lands without a permit. The MNRF says the company had been depositing sand into the water of Chandos Lake.  The company had already been warned not to do this earlier this year.

The MNRF is calling on you to report any natural resource violations by calling 1-877-847-7667.
