Slippery road conditions led to two crashes yesterday. Centre Hastings OPP report that early Monday morning a tractor trailer jackknifed across a bridge on Highway # 37 at O’Brien Road and closed the south bound lane for several hours. Then during the afternoon, a sports utility vehicle spun out of control along Highway 62 at Townsend Road, and struck a guard rail. The driver swerved to miss a deer that slipped in front of the SUV. There are no injuries reported.
