If you’re not using your vehicle for a while, remember to take off your licence plates and put them in a safe place. That’s the message from the Bancroft OPP.
Police say, earlier this month, a man reported that his plates had been stolen sometime within the past 10 years. It happened while the vehicle was not being used and was parked on his property. The stolen plates were recently used on another vehicle which was issued parking tickets in Toronto.
Anyone with information on this theft is being asked to contact Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
