Two Pembroke men are facing charges after trying to steal from a pair of businesses in North Hastings.
Bancroft OPP says it happened on Friday afternoon.
It all started in Hastings Highlands, when a theft at a business was reported to police. A little while later, officers found the suspects’ vehicle at a business on Hastings Street North in Bancroft. One man was arrested at the vehicle, while the other was caught as he was leaving the Bancroft business with stolen property. A 37-year-old and 29-year-old both face charges of theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
Police remind you to report any thefts you suspect are taking place to the OPP or to Crime Stoppers.
