Mike Bossio says new federal funding is available to make workplaces accessible.
The MP for Hastings-Lennox and Addington says local businesses can now apply for the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities. Bossio says business owners can apply for funding to help them pay for upgrades to make it easier to hire someone with disabilities.
The funding is also available to those with disabilities who want to start their own business.
Bossio says the goal is to provide more opportunities and engage those with disabilities.
