It’s time to start thinking about filing your income taxes, and help is available for North Hastings residents in need.
Care North Hastings says it has Canada Revenue Agency-trained volunteers available to help low-income residents get their taxes ready. The service is available for individuals that make $30,000 a year, or $40,000 for couples. There are some exceptions.
The service is offered on a donation basis. You can find out more by calling Care North Hastings at (613) 332-4700.
Your income taxes have to be filed by April 30th.
