A 16 year-old girl has been charged with assault when police were investigating an out of control party. Officers were called to a home on Primrose Lane in Selwyn Township. Just after 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day,and discovered a number of intoxicated youths walking the street. The accused kicked the police cruiser and when the officer got out of the car, he was punched in the head by the girl. The girl is to be in youth court in February.
