Routine radar patrol by Peterborough County OPP has resulted in a teenaged speeder being nabbed. The police were stationed on Sherbrooke Street West in just before noon on Wednesday, when they clocked a car travelling at 117 km/h in the posted 50 km/h zone directly in front of Crestwood Secondary School. A 16 year-old male Peterborough youth was charged with stunt driving. His licence has been suspended for 7 days and a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer was towed from the scene and impounded. The accused is to appear in court later in March.
