Bancroft OPP is looking for a suspect in an assault and robbery that took place Monday evening. A man living at a home on Chemaushgon Street in Bancroft was assaulted and some personal items were stolen from the house. The suspect, a second man, ran from the scene in an unknown direction before police arrived. Anyone who may have information about this assault and theft is being asked to contact the Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
