A Marmora man was kidnapped, threatened, beaten, and robbed in a violent home invasion starting at his home on Crawford Drive in Marmora. Early last Saturday morning, an armed woman forced her way into the home threatening the victim. He was able to flee the house, but was found and forced into a car by the woman and another man. The victim was taken to a second house where he was assaulted and threatened for several hours before being taken to an ATM where he was forced into withdrawing money and giving it to his assailants. The man was returned to his home later. Centre Hastings OPP has arrested and charged a 28 year-old Marmora woman with Uttering threats, kidnapping, forcible confinement, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, aggravated assault, mischief under $5,000, and robbery. A 25 year-old Marmora man has also been arrested and he is charged with: Uttering threats, kidnapping, forcible confinement, and robbery. The victim was treated at hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
