If you buy a Smile Cookie from Tim Horton’s, it will put a smile on your face and maybe help you out down the road.
That’s because every dollar that’s raised during the campaign this week goes to support the North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary.
Michael Brooks, the President of the Auxiliary, says that the campaign has stayed steady raising around $9,000 in past years.
The next major fundraising event for the Auxiliary will be in November when their annual “Festival of Trees” event starts at the Corner Cafe by the Hospital.

Brooks says that around $50,000 has been raised so far this year. The Auxiliary is looking to raise $70,000 to buy 10 IV Pumps.
The cookies will be sold for $1 each at both Tim’s located in Bancroft on highway 28 and 62.
