The Ministry of Education released its 2014 graduation rates for school boards across the province yesterday – and our local public boards fell below the provincial average. Seventy-six percent of the province’s students earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma in four years. That number was 64% in the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, which includes North Hastings High School. The Renfrew County District School Board had a 74% graduation rate. The Trillium Lakelands District School Board was highest in the area at 75%. To find out how your local board did, click here.
