The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has issued a flood watch for the York River Watershed. The MNRF is asking homeowners to secure outside property, monitor weather conditions and avoid rivers and streams. The rest of the Bancroft area is under a flood outlook. This means there is the possibility of flooding based on the weather forecast. Five to 10 millimetres of rain is expected in the coming days and temperatures could be in the mid-teens.
