The Killaloe OPP are investigating after a North Algoma Wilberforce Township resident was defrauded of $310 in an online scam.
They say the victim was contacted about problems with their computer. When they gave a credit card number to help fix the problem, the card was charged but no services were done.
The OPP are advising the public to always go online and search anyone or any company that contacts them about providing a service.
