The winners of this year’s Great Place Awards, presented by our local school board, have been released.
The awards recognize great contributions to student life at schools in the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. This year’s recipients come from across the region, including from Madoc.
Kim Foley, an education assistant at Madoc Township Public School, and Jackie Howat, a volunteer at Madoc Public School, both have made the list this year.
The group of winners will get their awards at the school board’s meeting in Belleville May 25.
