While snowmobile season may be over, the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance getting ready for the spring season.
With the Ontario Federation of ATV clubs using their trails, the Alliance says they need rider support. Last year they put in culverts, redecked bridges, replaced signage, added gravel and replaced 5 bridges. They say that they invested $967,000 into making these improvements. They remind riders that while members of the OFATV can now use their trails thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding, this only applies to trails in Hastings County. They say that they also have a business plan for future shared use of the tails they operate.
You can now purchase a pass to use their system here. They say the money raised by the pass system help them fund the work they do.
