The Township of Wollaston is welcoming a new acting CEO to their library.
Kelly Veenstra, who has been employed as Library Clerk since October of last year, will assume the position effective immediately. In addition, the Library Board has temporarily closed the Library to allow Veenstra to familiarize herself with the new role. Township staff say that contrary to information on social media, they have no plans on shutting down the library itself. They add that they are currently looking for funding to build a new library.
Services will still be available online for those who had scheduled pickups. The Library Board will post when they are reopening on their website and Facebook page.
