Three people have been charged after a break and enter and assault that happened in May.
Police were called last month to a residence on Gaebel Road in Bancroft where they had found an adult who was assaulted with a weapon. They were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. OPP says the victims and the accused did not know each other.
Police have charged a 29-year-old and a 39-year-old from Bancroft, as well as a 35-year-old from Carlow Mayo. All three have been charged with aggravated assault, robbery with violence, possession of a weapon for dangerous use, assault, disguise with intent and break and enter.
All three suspects were held in custody.
