A weekend barbecue in Bancroft collected $780 for the local hospice.
Volunteer Coordinator Heather Brough and volunteers had a barbecue, complete with burgers, hot dogs and sausages, at Bancroft Foodland on Saturday. It raised funds for the organization, while also increasing awareness of the free services that it offers.
