Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp has announced funding for seniors programming in the Township of Carlow Mayo.
He says through the government’s New Horizons for Seniors program, $14,944 will be given to the township and the Carlow Mayo recreation boards. The money will be used to buy electronic-opening doors and six benches so that seniors can continue to participate in activities like: dancing, games and the quilting club.
The NHSP program gives organizations up to $25,000 towards programs that benefit seniors.
