Bancroft has a new person at its council table.
Council voted to appoint Wayne Wiggins as its newest member at a recent meeting.
Wiggins was asked to join council, following the recent resignation of Mary Kavanagh. He has served on Bancroft councils in the past.
After being sworn in, to serve the remainder of the term 2022-to-2026 term, Wiggins said he’s looking forward to the role, explaining that the job is about “doing the best we can, financially,” for constituents.
